Windows Mobile 6.5

I do like the HTC Touch Pro 2, however I do not like Windows Mobile on the Phone. I am willing to wait until October 6 for the realease of version 6.5

MMS on the iPhone

I waited all day until I got home to install the MMS Update from iTunes. Once I did i wonder if anyone else I knew with an iPhone had MMS activated yet. I sent them messages like this, "Do you have MMS yet?" Then I would wait for a reply. Barring a reply I decided to test it myself. I sent an MMS to my Blackberry on Verizon.

Guess what it worked and I noticed I never really missed this feature at all on my iPhone, but its nice to have. So in the end I felt underwhelmed by the experience, until I received my first MMS message from another iphone. It was a video taken on an iPhone and then I realized why I was so excited in the first place. The iPhone has always made it easier to use a phone and send pictures and text, now I can send pictures and text without having to use E-Mail or Facebook. MMS replaced thre or four steps in the process. Just aim your iPhone take a picture or video and send it.

Now that's cool.

I currently listen to the ESPN Fantasy Football Podcast every morning since it is Football Season. So far I am undefeated in my league here at the office 2-0 for Team Optimator. I also use the ESPN Fantasy Football iPhone/iPod Touch App to keep track of my players. I can drop and add players and keep track of the other teams in my league.

If you play Fantasy Football and have an iPhone/iPod Touch, this App will keep you on top of your game.

Big Week in Tech

So I am back from my two week vacation. It was great. I hope to post some pictures soon. This is a big week in Tech. First of all the Zune HD was release last week along with a the new iPods, the week before, on September 9th,  Its never been easier to carry your music around with you.

The odds on carrying a SmartPhone and an iPod music player are slim, however I admit that I do it.

 

I have a little Orange iPod Nano I keep with me for music and Podcasts.

This week RIM, the makers of the BlackBerry will release their Desktop Software for the Mac.

 

AT&T will also release MMS text messaging for the iPhone on September 25th.

I will not take my MacBook on Vacation

I am not taking my MacBook Pro on vacation. Why? Because it lacks a SD Card Reader, my model is from Fall 2009. The MacBook Pro also lacks HDMI, in case I want to hook it up to Hotel TV. So it will be the ever ready Dell PC Studio Laptop as my vacation computer.
